Visa details
The D1 multiple-entry tourist visa for Indonesia (Multiple-Entry Visit/Tourist Visa) is designed for travellers who plan short and frequent trips to the country. The purpose of travel may include tourism, visiting friends and relatives, attending exhibitions and seminars, or transiting through Indonesia to other countries.
- The visa is issued electronically via the Indonesian immigration portal and requires a local sponsor (guarantor). This is a mandatory condition both for obtaining and extending the visa. The document is issued as a PDF file with a unique number and barcode.
- Validity period: 1, 2 or 5 years. You must enter Indonesia within 90 days from the date of issue of the visa; otherwise, the document will be cancelled.
- Number of entries: there is no limit on the number of entries and exits during the visa validity period. Each new entry gives you a new 60-day period of stay.
- Length of stay: 60 days per entry. Every 60 days you must either leave and re-enter, or extend your current stay for another 60 days (up to a maximum of 180 days without leaving the country).
- Conversion: this type of visa can be converted into a KITAS without leaving Indonesia.
