Indonesia Visa for Andorran Citizens

Alice Korsak

Our Bali visa agent

Andorran citizens need a visa to travel to Indonesia. For a short tourist trip you can apply for the electronic e-VOA (Electronic Visa on Arrival).

The e-VOA gives you 30 days in Indonesia. Without leaving the country it can be extended by another 30 days if you decide to stay longer.

In this article we cover which documents an Andorran citizen needs, how much the e-VOA costs and what to do before the trip.

Indonesia Visa for Andorran Citizens

Do Andorran citizens need a visa for Indonesia

Yes. There is no visa-free arrangement between the two countries. The good news is that you do not have to visit an Indonesian consulate: Andorra is on the list of 97 countries whose citizens can apply for an electronic visa on arrival (e-VOA).

The e-VOA in detail

The visa is issued online through Indonesia's official immigration portal. The government fee for the eVOA is IDR 500,000 plus the card processing fee (≈$35). Applications are normally decided within 48 hours of the fee being paid.

Once approved, a PDF of the visa arrives by email with a unique number and a QR code, which you present on entry. We advise our clients to save the file on their phone and to print it as well (in case the device runs out of battery in flight).

Now the visa itself:

  1. The visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. You can enter on any day inside that window, including the last one.
  2. On arrival you are given 30 days of stay. The day of arrival counts as the first.
  3. You can extend it once, by another 30 days. That makes 60 days maximum per trip.
  4. The visa is single-entry. It stops being valid the moment you leave the country, and you will need a new one.

❗ If you plan to spend more than two months in Indonesia, apply for the C1 visa from the start. An eVOA cannot be converted into a C1 inside the country — you would have to leave and file a new application.

How the extension works

The extension fee is another IDR 500,000. The application is filed online, but the procedure requires one visit to the immigration office in person, for a photograph and fingerprints. That takes time, so we recommend starting the extension about two weeks before the first 30 days run out. Do not leave it to the final days.

If you extend through MyVisa.World, we file the application ourselves and tell you the date and time of your appointment at the immigration office. If you already know you will be in Indonesia for more than 30 days, choose the "eVOA for 60 days" option straight away.

Which documents you need

The list is very short. Under the migration requirements in force in 2026, an eVOA applicant must provide:

  1. A colour scan or photograph of the passport data page. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months on the day of entry into Indonesia.
  2. A photograph on a white background. A phone selfie will do; a studio is not needed.
  3. An address in Indonesia, taken from a hotel or villa booking.
  4. A booking for a return ticket or a ticket to a third country.

❗ Every child needs a separate visa, infants included. A child cannot be added to a parent's visa.

The All Indonesia arrival card

This is a free electronic form completed by everyone arriving in Indonesia. It became compulsory on 1 October 2025 and replaced four documents at once: the immigration card, the customs declaration, the quarantine declaration and the health form.

It is filled in on the official website or in the All Indonesia app. The form can be submitted within three days before arrival. We recommend doing it before departure, so the QR code is ready in advance.

❗ The arrival card is not a visa and does not replace one. You need both documents.

The Bali tourist levy

IDR 150,000 per person (about $9.50). Tourists pay it regardless of age. Certain categories are exempt by visa type: KITAS and KITAP holders, diplomatic and service visas, crew members, student visas.

Payment is made on the official website or in the Love Bali app. Cash is not accepted — only cards, bank transfer or QRIS. The levy is paid once per trip, at any point before you leave the country, though before departure makes more sense. Keep the QR code from the email: it is scanned on the way out of the arrivals area at Ngurah Rai airport and at Benoa port.

If you have flown into Jakarta and are not going to Bali, you do not pay the levy.

Checklist before departure

Before you fly, check:

  1. The passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry and has two blank pages for stamps.
  2. The eVOA is saved on your phone and printed.
  3. The All Indonesia arrival card is completed and the QR code saved.
  4. If you are flying to Bali — the tourist levy is paid and the QR code saved.

Andorra has a system called Registre de viatgers (the travellers' register). It is a state procedure filed through the government's electronic office. The idea is the same as Poland's Odyseusz or Switzerland's Travel Admin: the state knows you are in a particular country on particular dates and can contact you in an emergency.

This matters more than usual for Indonesia, because the country is seismically active and eruptions regularly close airports, Bali's included. Registration is voluntary. In an emergency Andorra's foreign ministry can use the details you provided to reach you.

Why apply through MyVisa.World

We are officially registered in Indonesia and work with the immigration service directly, without intermediaries. A person checks the application before it is filed, so a blurred passport scan or a photograph with a shadow across the face does not turn into a refusal a week later.

The standard processing time is 2 days. If you need the visa urgently, we file the application out of turn within 2 hours. We accept cards from banks in any country.

Message a visa specialist in the chat, send a copy of your passport and a photograph, and we will do the rest.

FAQ

You have no right to demand it: Andorra is not in the European Union, and Council Directive 2015/637 does not cover its citizens. We found no official Andorran government document establishing assistance through France or Spain in third countries. The correct sequence is the police, then the consular service of Andorra's foreign ministry, and only on its instruction a specific mission.

No earlier than 72 hours before arrival — the form simply does not open before that. It is convenient to do it in transit or at the departure airport. The eVOA, by contrast, should be applied for in advance: the visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issue.

It is not formally checked on entry, but an Andorran is better off having it. Andorra has no mission in Indonesia, public healthcare effectively does not treat foreigners, and private clinics ask for payment upfront. A policy with medical evacuation and a 24-hour assistance line settles the matter faster than any diplomatic correspondence.

A fine of IDR 1,000,000 for every day beyond the permitted stay. It is paid at the airport on departure. A long overstay is treated as a serious breach of the law and can end in detention, deportation and a ban on entry.
